The St. Lawrence University Overwatch team posted its second 3-0 win in as many days, defeating the University of North Texas at Dallas in a National Association of Collegiate Esports match on Thursday night.

The Saints dominated all three points, with Jason Angelos (neonJason) earning Play of the Game honors twice.

For the second night in a row, St. Lawrence opened the match with a dominating performance on the Nepal control point map, winning both contests by 100-0 scores to take a 1-0 lead. Sam Putney (SputnikGT) earned Play of the Game honors playing as Roadhog.

The Saints took a 2-0 lead on the Junkertown payload map. St. Lawrence opened on defense and prevented the Trailblazers from reaching the first checkpoint, then matched UNT Dallas' performance in just over a minute. Angelos won his first Play of the Game recognition playing as Tracer.

St. Lawrence clinched the win on the Eichenwalde hybrid map. The Saints opened on defense and nearly prevented their opponent from reaching the first objective once again, but the Trailblazers were able to gain the control point in overtime to unlock the payload. They had limited time to move the payload, however, and were only able to advance it 60.57 meters. St. Lawrence made quick work on offense, getting as far into the map as UNT Dallas with more than four and a half minutes to spare. Angelos won his second Play of the Game honor, this time playing as Doomfist.

St. Lawrence improved to 8-4 overall and 5-3 in NACE Group E play, while UNT Dallas fell to 2-6 in league play.

The Saints will play on three consecutive nights next week, opening the week with an ECAC match on Wednesday, then wrapping up NACE group play on Thursday and Friday.
