St. Lawrence University first-year Anna Segedi was named the ECAC Hockey Player of the Week on Monday morning.

Segedi led the nation with five goals and seven points last week, scoring her first career hat trick in the same game as her first career goal in a 4-1 win over New Hampshire on Thursday. She added two goals and two assists in a come-from-behind 5-5 tie with the Wildcats the following day.

Segedi leads ECAC Hockey with five goals and eight points on the season. The Saints, now 1-2-1, will travel to Burlington, Vermont, to face the University of Vermont on Thursday and Friday. The opening faceoff for both games is scheduled for 6 p.m.
