Dylan Babcock won both throwing events, while James Elmour, Travis Hamre (pictured above) and Gordon White won an individual event and a relay to lead the St. Lawrence University men's indoor track and field team to a win in the three-team St. Lawrence Invitational on Friday night at Newell Field House.
St. Lawrence scored 172 points, while SUNY Plattsburgh was second with 99. SUNY Potsdam finished third with 23 points.
The meet was the first for the Saints on their home track since it was resurfaced last month.
Babcock was one centimeter shy of his personal best performance in the shot put with a toss of 13.34 meters to win the event by 34 centimeters. He also won the weight throw with a mark of 14.91 meters.
Hamre won the 200 in 23.20 seconds, while White posted a win the 60. The duo also helped the Saints win the 4x200 with a time of 1:32.47 more than three and a half seconds better than the Saints' previous best time this season.
Elmour won the 800 in 2:02.32 and also helped lead the distance medley relay to victory.
