Dylan Babcock won the weight throw and finished second in the shot put to lead the St. Lawrence University men's indoor track and field team at the Hamilton College Invitational on Friday night.
The Saints won five events at the meet; no team scores were kept.
Babcock had his best performance of the day in the weight throw on his first attempt, hitting a mark of 14.97 meters that no one else matched for the rest of the competition. He was second behind teammate Kevin Danaher in the shot put, with Danaher matching his personal best performance with a throw of 12.77 meters. Babcock had a mark of 12.47 meters.
Liam Burbage (high jump), Atticus King (1,000) and Gordon White (long jump) also posted wins for the Saints.
