Juniors
Willem Naughton and
Sebastían Boada won the C doubles draw, and the Saints saw three win their consolation bracket in singles play on the final day of the Garnet Charger Invite on the campus of Union College on Saturday.
In C doubles, Naughton and Boada were tasked with Union's Riichi Nagatake and Reilly Fowles in the semifinals and moved on to the Final with a 6-2 win.
The duo was matched up in the flight final against teammates
Ryan Tingley and
Jackson Murray, who advanced after their opponents pulled out due to injury. Aughton and Boada got the better of their teammates, winning 6-3 to take the bracket.
In the B draw,
Charles Schepens and
Bennett Stout were also in the flight final as the tandem took on Drew's Nicolas Mobayed and Nathen Martin and won 6-4. The doubles pairing would lose in the final, ending their run.
In singles play, three Saints in
Josh David (A), Schepens (B), and
Kameron Fernandez (C) won their consolation brackets, while
Jake David advanced to the E draw final before falling.
The Scarlet and Brown will wrap up their Fall schedule next weekend when the team heads to Skidmore College to take part in the ITA Northeast Regionals beginning Friday, September 25.
