The Saints'
Ryan Tingley and
Jackson Murray took the B doubles draw, and a pair of singles entries won consolation finals to lead the St. Lawrence University men's tennis team on Day Two of the St. Lawrence University Fall Classic on the Sammis Tennis Courts and in the Newell Field House.
In the B doubles draw, it was a Scarlet and Brown affair with all four teams being from St. Lawrence. Moving on to the final were the tandems of Tingley and Murray, along with
Rowan Bepler and
Sebastían Boada. Tingley and Murray got the better of their teammates with an 8-1 win and took the draw.
They were not the only Saints pairing in a doubles final, as
Charles Schepens and
Bennett Stout made the A final with an 8-3 semifinal win over Arhan Gupta and Simon Philip. The duo fell 8-2 to Simon Bellemare and Jusus Alberto in the final, ending their run.
In consolation play, Schepens and
Kameron Fernandez advanced to the B final with semifinal wins over Daniel Saxe and St. Lawrence's
Justin Son, respectively. In the consolation final, Schepens took the 8-3 win.

Willem Naughton and
Jackson Murray beat teammates
Preston Mcarthy and Boada in their semifinal matchups to advance to the final. Murray took the consolation final 8-2.
In the A bracket,
Josh David advanced to the consolation final but lost, ending his run.
St. Lawrence will be back on the court next weekend when they travel to Schenectady, N.Y., to take part in the Union Invitational.
