The St. Lawrence University women's rowing team raced well during the 2025-26 season and competed in the National Invitational Rowing Championship in Worcester, Mass. to close out the spring portion of their schedule on May 10th.
The Scarlet and Brown started their campaign back in September at the Head of the Rideau in Ottawa, Ontario. The Saints then competed at the Head of the Genessee and the highly competitive Head of the Charles in October, racing to a 31st-place finish in 18:57.037.

St. Lawrence closed out the fall portion of their schedule at the Head of the Fish in Saratoga Springs.
North Country weather played a factor in getting on the water in the spring, as the Saints competed at the New York State Championships, the Liberty League Championships and the NIRC Championships.
At the NYS Championships, the women's 1V8 placed second in the third-level final with a time of 8:21.993, while the 2V8 placed sixth in the petit final with a time of 8:43.942.
At the conference championships, SLU's 1V8 took on RIT, Ithaca, Rochester, William Smith and Skidmore, in the grand final, placing sixth with a time of 7:38.803. The 2V8 placed fifth overall, posting a time of 8:02.580, besting RIT and Union.
To finish the season at the NIRC Championships, the Saints Varsity 8 placed fifth in the third-level final in 8:02.944 ahead of Mt. Holyoke and UNH. The 2V8 placed third in the third-level final with a time of 8:37.180, finishing ahead of Skidmore and Mt. Holyoke.
To close the season, senior
Angie Vertullo was awarded First-Team All-Liberty League accolades, while sophomore
Molly Robie earned Second-Team honors. Six Saints were named CRCA Scholar Athletes, while 13 Saints earned All-Academic accolades.
This was the third consecutive post season honor for Vertullo, as she earned First-Team honors in both her sophomore and junior seasons.
