The St. Lawrence University women's rowing team raced three boats at the Head of the Genessee on Saturday afternoon in Rochester, N.Y.

The Varsity 8, coxed by Hannah Bacon, clocked in with a time of 19:28.235, finishing in fifth place out of 10 boats. The Saints finished ahead of boats from William Smith, Nazareth, RIT, Rochester and St. John Fisher.

The women's Novice 4, led by Sarah Cummins, rowed to a third-place finish with a time of 22:53.852.

SLU's Varsity 4, coxed by Sarah Potts, recorded an eighth-place finish out of a field of 14 boats with a time of 22:40.936.

The Saints will wrap up the fall portion of their schedule at the Head of the Fish in Saratoga Springs on Saturday, October 24.
