Following another standout season as a premier scoring threat in the conference, St. Lawrence University senior guard
Jackie Malley has been named to the All-Liberty League First Team, as announced by the league office on Tuesday.
The Reading, Mass. native put together one of the better offensive seasons in the recent history of the Saints women's basketball program. Malley finished the season third in the Liberty League in scoring average with an average of 13.7.
Her efficiency was on full display across 27 games, where she shot 36.8 per cent from the floor) led the conference at 39.7 per cent from beyond the arc. Reliable at the stripe, she converted 86.3% of her free throws. Beyond her scoring, Malley contributed 80 total rebounds, 43 assists, and 27 steals.
Malley also reached career milestones in her senior campaign. On January 17 against William Smith, Malley surpassed the 1,000-point career milestone. Malley also took over sole possession of an offensive category in the program's history books by becoming St. Lawrence's all-time leader in three-point field goals. She deposited 259 triples in her time in Scarlet and Brown.
