St. Lawrence University women's basketball standouts
Norah Niesz and
Hannah Van Dyke have been recognized with CSC Academic All-District honors, as announced this week by College Sports Communicators (CSC), the national sports information association.
The two players earned the distinction after seasons in which they met a combination of academic and athletic benchmarks. On the academic side, honorees must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5, while athletically they are required to appear in at least 90 percent of their team's games or start in a minimum of 66 percent of them. Eligibility is also limited to student-athletes who have reached at least sophomore standing in both academics and athletics.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Basketball Teams are chosen by College Sports Communicators to highlight the country's top student-athletes for their excellence both on the court and in the classroom. Through its separate Academic All-America program, the CSC further honors standout performers across four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and the NAIA.
