St. Lawrence University men's track and field athlete Nick Lyndaker has been named Liberty League athlete of the week for the week ending February 15 following his historic mile run in Boston. 

Lyndaker delivered a historic, career-defining performance this past Friday at the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational. Competing in a high-caliber field dominated by Division I talent, Lyndaker shattered the elusive four-minute mile barrier with a remarkable time of 3:59.42. This performance not only broke his own school record but also set a new Liberty League record. His time currently stands as the fifth-fastest mile in NCAA Division III history.

St. Lawrence returns to action at the SLU Open on Friday this week.
