St. Lawrence University men's track and field athlete Nick Lyndaker has been named Liberty League performer of the week after another landmark run, this time in the mile run at the Nazareth Conference Challenge Cup.

Lyndaker posted a blistering mile time of 4:08.77 at Saturday's Nazareth Conference Challenge Cup, just five seconds off his personal record in the event. That time gives him a No. 1 ranking in the Liberty League this season, and is the sixth-fastest mile time in Division III exiting the weekend.

Lyndaker and the Saints next take action on Friday, as they head to the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex for the Fastrack National Invitational in Staten Island, N.Y.
