Thomas Proia were named Academic All-District selections by the CSC (College Sports Communicators), as announced by the organization on Tuesday.
The five Saints qualified for the honor by having at least a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average, sophomore academic standing or higher, and participating in 90 percent of the institution's games played or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games.Â
Ciesielski, a wide receiver and return specialist for the Saints, finished the 2025 season with six catches for 184 yards, recorded a 100-yard field goal return, and logged 27 kickoff returns for 521 yards.
Huhtala led the Saints receiving game and ranked fourth in the Liberty League with 45 catches for 567 yards and six touchdowns. He recorded a career-best 176 yards in the senior day win over Rochester on November 15.
Morelli ranked second on the Saints' defense with 73 tackles on the season, including four tackles for the loss and half a sack. He added two fumble recoveries, a blocked kick and a safety.
Murphy, a member of the offensive line, helped SLU log 2,925 yards on offense this season, averaging 292.5 yards per play and totaling 25 touchdowns on the season.
Proia, a defensive lineman, finished the year with 11 tackles and a quarterback hurry.
All five Saints also earned Liberty League All-Academic accolades, while Huhtala earned Second-Team All-Liberty League honors.
