The St. Lawrence University women's rowing team opened the fall portion of their schedule at the Head of the Rideau at Mooney's Bay Beach in Ottawa, Ontario on Sunday.

The women's squad raced two Varsity 8 boats on Sunday, placing fourth and fifth overall out of seven boats.

Coxed by Ella DeParde, the fourth-place boat clocked a time of 22:00.75, while the boat in fifth was coxed by Autumn Lee and finished with a time of 22:38.81.

St. Lawrence will travel to the Head of the Genesee in Rochester, N.Y. on Saturday, October 11.
