St. Lawrence University softball alumna
Zola Braswell '24 has returned to her alma mater to join the Saints' coaching staff as a graduate assistant coach beginning with the 2025-26 season.
Braswell was a four-year member of the Scarlet and Brown from 2021-24 and served as a team captain during her senior year. She posted a career-best .275 batting average in 2023, recording personal highs in RBIs and walks, and capped her career with 19 hits as a senior.
Following graduation, the Portsmouth, N.H., native earned her Master of Education from Lesley University in Cambridge, Mass. While pursuing her degree, she completed a teacher apprentice program at Berwick Academy in South Berwick, Maine
In addition to her studies, Braswell served as head coach of Berwick's Upper School JV softball team during the 2024 season, gaining valuable coaching experience while continuing her involvement in the sport.
She now returns to Canton to begin her work with all aspects of the St. Lawrence softball program.
