For the second year in a row, the St. Lawrence University softball team will honor five members of the roster as College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honorees, the highest allowable number of honorees selected by the national organization for athletics communicators.

Marina Juan,
Isabel Moreno,
Maeve Thompson, and
Leah VerSchneider earned the distinction for possessing a cumulative grade point average of over 3.5, and meeting the athletic criteria established by the CSC.
To qualify for CSC Academic All-District recognition, a student-athlete must meet both academic and athletic standards. Academically, nominees must carry a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 on a 4.0 scale and must be at least a sophomore both academically and athletically. On the field, softball nominees must have appeared in at least 90 percent of the team's games or started in at least 66 percent of them.
