Senior Edvin Strandberg was named to the All-Liberty League second team for his singles play, and he was joined by John Hill-Edgar on the Honorable Mention All-League for doubles to highlight the St. Lawrence University men's tennis team's 2024-25 season.

The Saints finished the year with an 8-13 mark and a 2-6 record in conference play.

Their campaign began in the Fall where the team hosted the St. Lawrence University Fall Classic at the Sammis Tennis Courts. The Saints then took part in the Union Invitational where first-years Ryan Tingley and Charles Schepens won the D and E flight respectively.

To close out the first semester, the Scarlet and Brown were led by Strandberg at the ITA Northeast Regionals. The senior advanced to the Round of 16 to highlight the event.

In the second semester, St. Lawrence alternated wins to a 2-2 mark early defeating SUNY Oneonta and Daemen, then opened up their Liberty League slate in the Newell Field House defeating Bard 7-0.

Following the win over the Raptors, the Saints flew south to Orlando and picked up four team wins defeating Colby-Sawyer, Hope, Crown, and Edgewood.

The team struggled upon their return north and picked up their second league win on April 12 defeating Union in a close 4-3 match. The team was unable to continue the strong play missing out on postseason play.

Strandberg, who was named to the All-League second team, led the team with 12 singles wins, and won eight of his matches from the number one spot in the Saints' order. He was also one half of a very good tandem alongside fellow senior Hill-Edgar. The pair led the team with a 15-9 mark en route to an Honorable Mention league nod.

Broderick Pinto and Jake David also had a strong doubles season picking up 14 wins and a 14-12 record overall.
