Five members of the St. Lawrence University softball team have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, marking the first time in program history that the Saints have placed the maximum five honorees in a single season.

Sofia Camillieri,
Vivian Johnson,
Maeve Thompson, and
Stella VanGee earned the distinction for their excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
Johnson has also been selected for the CSC Academic All-America national ballot.

To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. Nominees must have competed in at least 90 percent of their team's games or started in a minimum of 66 percent. For pitchers, eligibility requires at least 17 appearances or 35 innings pitched.
Each institution may nominate up to five student-athletes, who are then considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Finalists for Academic All-America® honors are denoted with an asterisk (*) and will move on to national voting by CSC members.
