The St. Lawrence University riding team placed third overall at the 2025 IHSA Zone II Finals, hosted by West Virginia University, this past Saturday in Reedsville, Va.

Harper Eskey, the Region II overall High Point Rider, competed and secured a national spot in the Cacchione Cup.

Earning team results for the Saints, Cate Weis placed first in Limit Fences, while Mattie Porter finished first in Novice Flat.

Skidmore claimed the team title with 44 points, while Sacred Heart placed second with 37 and St. Lawrence finished third with 33.

Eskey will continue to train and prepare to head to the IHSA Nationals at the Tryon International Equestrian Center in Mill Spring, N.C., May 2-4.
