After winning its 15th-straight Regional Championship, the St. Lawrence University Riding team hosted IHSA Zone 2 Regionals this past Saturday, March 29th at the Elsa Gunnison Appleton Riding Hall.

Harper Eskey, Annie Kammer, Frances Thompson McKenzie, Haley Morland, Samantha Phillips, and Nora Sullivan all qualified for regionals for the Scarlet and Brown, with Eskey and Thompson McKenzie advancing on to Zones.

Thompson McKenzie was named the Regional Champion in both Open Fences and Intermediate Flat, while Eskey was the Regional Champion in Open Flat and the Reserve Champion in Open Fences.

Samantha Phillips placed fourth, while Annie Kammer placed sixth in the Limit Flat and Haley Morland placed fifth overall in the final round of the Novice Flat.

Midway through the show, the Saints were presented with the regional trophy, and Eskey was awarded the season's High Point Rider trophy.

The Saints will continue to train and prepare to return to competition on April 5th, when they head to Reedsville, Va. for the IHSA Zone 2 Finals at West Virginia University.
