The Saints got a first career win and a win from their lone senior, but the St. Lawrence University women's squash suffered a 6-2 loss to Dickinson on Saturday in the Robie Squash Center.
St. Lawrence fell to 2-4 with the loss, while the Red Devils improved to 8-8.
Meg Pruett, who was honored before the contest as the lone member of the Class of 2025, played her final regular season match at the Robie Squash Center and went out in style. The senior occupied the third spot and took on Gabi El-Masry on the Dordelman Championship Court where she took a 3-1 win by the score of 5-11, 11-6, 11-6, 11-4.
The other Saints win came from the eighth spot, where
Keating Gullott earned her first career win in her first match as a Saint. The first-year took on Lila Brown and, after falling 11-8 in the opening game, came back with 13-11, 11-5, and 11-4 wins to take the 3-1 win.
The Scarlet and Brown will return on court next weekend when the team hosts the Liberty League Championships at the Robie Squash Center.
