Eboni Atherley of the St. Lawrence University women's squash team and
Emirhan Sen of the St. Lawrence University men's squash team were named the Liberty League's Performers of the Week, while
Katherine Callaway was named women's squash's Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Atherley was tremendous for St. Lawrence over the weekend, going 3-0 to help the team improve to 4-0. Her weekend began against Connecticut College, where she defeated Aarushi Reddy 3-1 at number two. Then, on Saturday, she played number one and defeated Charlotte Tobin 3-0. Against Haverford, she played number two once again, winning 3-0 against Zoe Liu.
Sen had a successful week for the Saints, going 3-0 from the number one spot in the lineup. His week began against Connecticut College, where he defeated Henry Pelletier 3-1. Then on Saturday, his day started with a 3-0 win over Vassar's Konstantinos Georgallides before defeating Haverford's Aaryaman Jaising 3-0 in his second match of the day.
Callaway also had a great week for the Saints, going 3-0. Her first match came against Connecticut College at number seven, where she defeated Natalie Drew 3-0. On Saturday, she played Vassar's Iesha DeSilva at five, winning 3-0, then beat Haverford's Sarah Kotapka 3-0 at number seven.
Atherley, Callaway, and the Saints' women's team will be back on court on Saturday, December 6, when the team travels to Washington, D.C. to take on Georgetown University, while Sen and the men's team will be back in action on Saturday, December 6, when the team hosts Navy at the Robie Squash Center.
