St. Lawrence University women's squash first-year Eboni Atherley was named the Liberty League's Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. 

Atherley's first collegiate match was a marathon one that the newcomer won 3-2. The first-year went down 2-1 against Sofia Pinto Combita of Chatham at number two, but stormed back with 15-13 and 11-7 wins to help complete St. Lawrence's sweep. 

Atherley and the Scarlet and Brown will be back on court on Friday, November 21, when the team heads to New London, Conn., to take on Connecticut College.
