Box Score The Saints won the doubles round, but could not find the three wins they needed in singles play as the St. Lawrence University women's tennis team fell 5-4 on Saturday afternoon in Troy, N.Y.
 
St. Lawrence fell to 10-7 with the loss and 3-3 in league play.
 
At number one doubles, it was a heavyweight bout between Angelica Aksdal-Jansen and Molly Jespersen versus RPI's Krisia and Lorna Flores-Gonzalez. The match would go all the way to a tiebreaker which the Saints' duo would take 8-7 (13-11).
 
At two, the sister duo of Ariane Karera and Yvette Karera took on Masha Karach and Lina Krumpel and claimed an 8-3 victory.
 
Aksdal-Jansen doubled up her win total in singles taking down L. Flores-Gonzalez once again 6-2, 6-4. Yvette Karera dealt the other sister a loss as at three, the first-year defeated her opponent 6-3, 6-0.
 
The Scarlet and Brown will try to get back in the win column when the team heads to Annadale-on-Hudson to face Bard.
