Jespersen played tennis at Arthur P. Schalick High School... During her time in school, Jespersen was named to the All-Conference First-Team, was named All-State Group 1, All-Group 1 Singles, and the South Jersey Times Player of the Year... She was also a member of the school's Honor Roll, Honor Society, and was a top-ten student in her graduating class.
