Mary Grace McCann medaled, and the St. Lawrence University women's golf team claimed the team title at the SUNY Canton Invitational on Wednesday afternoon at the Partridge Golf and Country Club in Canton.

McCann tied her career low with a 75 for the first-place finish, while Abigail Sikora and Riley McPhee tied for second place, shooting an 89 each.

Lane Haehl shot a personal-best 90 and finished in the top five with a fourth-place finish. Ella Narins rounded out the golfers for the Saints, finishing in 17th with a 130.

St. Lawrence claimed the win with a combined 343 by over 50 strokes with Utica in second place with a 396.

The Saints are off this weekend and will wrap up the fall portion of their schedule with a single round against William Smith on Sunday, October 1 at the Thousand Island Golf Club.
