The St. Lawrence University women's golf team took home the team title at the SUNY Poly Invitational and wrapped up the 2025-26 season with a fifth-place finish at the Liberty League Championships in May.
The Saints started out the season hosting the St. Lawrence Invitational and finished in fourth place. St. Lawrence then took home the team title at SUNY Poly with a 341, while sophomore
Sadie Cumming claimed the individual title with four birdies, shooting a 74. Senior
Caroline Mower placed second, while
Nilla Ecklof placed fourth.
The Saints also played a dual match with Union and played at the Williams and Hamilton invitationals in the fall. SLU opened the spring portion of their schedule with a fourth-place finish at Cortland's Martin/Wallace Invitational and played as individuals at Union's Spring Invite before the conference tournament at the Teugega Country Club in Rome on May 1-2.
At Liberty League's, Cumming shot an 83 on Friday and an 89 on Saturday to lead the Saints with a 172, finishing in 18th place. Mower came in 19th with a 179, dropping a stroke from her round one score. Ecklof shot a 92 both days and finished the two-round tournament with a 184 in 23rd, while
Laura Franz placed 27th with a 198.
St. Lawrence finished the weekend in fifth place with a combined score of 733 (365, 368), finishing ahead of Vassar and William Smith.
The Saints graduated three seniors in the Class of 2026 –
