Nilla Ecklof shot an 87 to lead the St. Lawrence University women's golf team after round one of the St. Lawrence Fall Invitational at the par-72 Oliver D. Appleton Golf Course on Saturday afternoon in Canton, N.Y.

Ecklof sits in 24th with an 87, while Cora Hanson sits in 37th with a 117, Sami Phelan sits in 38th with a 121 and Chase Smith is 39th with a 129.

NYU's Elisa Xue leads the pack after round one, shooting three-under par, with a 69.

NYU leads in team scoring as well with a 289, while St. Lawrence sits in seventh with a 454.
