Soper Added To Softball Coaching Staff

The St. Lawrence University softball program and head coach Rosie Phillips are excited to announce Mackenzie Soper as the graduate assistant coach for the upcoming season.

"We're thrilled to have Mackenzie on staff," said Phillips "Her knowledge and experience playing high caliber softball at Howard University paired with her background in softball operations and coaching will help make our program and department better. Her depth of experience in several positions and her go-getting attitude will be an excellent addition. We're proud to call Mackenzie a Saint!"

Soper, a graduate of Howard University, has a degree in Sports Management with a minor in Economics. A member of the Bison softball team, Mackenzie slashed .310/.420/.548 with four doubles, two home runs, and eight RBI in her lone season in 2019.

During her time at Howard, Soper also served as the Director of Operations for the Bison. In her role, she curated schedules and travel plans, coordinated facility management, and organized game day operations.
