Dominic Centofanti has been named the new Recruiting Coordinator, Special Teams Coordinator and Defensive Line Coach for the St. Lawrence University football team.
"Coach Centofanti is a highly knowledgeable young football coach," said head coach
Dan Puckhaber. "He brings a wealth of experience from multiple schools and recruiting regions. Being a North Country native, he can come "home" to recruit great student athletes to a region he loves. That passion is noticeable."
Centofanti joins the Scarlet and Brown from SUNY Polytechnic Institute, where he was the Coordinator of Sport Performance and Fitness Center. Prior to his time with the Wildcats, he served as the Run Game Coordinator, the Offensive Line Coach and the Head Football Strength and Conditioning Coach at Kentucky Wesleyan College.
He also served as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach and Offensive Coordinator at Franklin College from 2018-2020.
Centofanti holds a Master's Degree in Public Health from Elmhurst College and a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Coaching from SUNY Brockport.
A Potsdam, New York native, he is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA and First Aid, CPR/AED Certified by the American Red Cross.
