After rescheduling their game to Monday afternoon, the Saints suffered a hard loss at the hands of the Oakland University Grizzlies in their first College League of Legends game, 0-2. The game began with the Grizzlies taking first blood with a kill on our Top Laner, Anthony "McCuddleBalls" Zevallos, playing as Volibear. The Saints struck back with three kills of their own, but after securing the first dragon nine minutes in, the Grizzlies began to snowball out of control. They scored kill after unanswered kill on the Saints increasing the gold deficit to insurmountable proportions. The Grizzlies secured the Rift Herald and used it to push all the way to the Saints' Nexus in under nineteen minutes causing a quick loss for Game One.

Game two was not much better for the Saints. Mihn "elew" Nyguyen subbed in for McCuddleBalls and chose to play Renekton in the mid lane with Yixiao "CDC Gangster" Yie swapping to Fiora in the top lane. Unfortunately, the Grizzlies read this switch well and positioned their players to counter the Saints. The Grizzlies' Gwen gave elew a great bit of difficulty in the mid lane while their Lucian punished Fiora in the top lane with repeated ganks from the Grizzlies' jungler playing as Xin Zhao. The Grizzlies showed their proficiency in playing unorthodox picks in different lanes, and it caught the Saints off guard. The Grizzlies snowballed a 4-1 kill lead from the fifth minute into a 23-6 lead by the seventeenth minute. The Grizzilies secured the first dragon and the Rift Herald again. They then repeated the same push up the middle to secure the match win at just eighteen minutes.
