Wes Bevins tied for fifth place to lead the St. Lawrence University men's golf team at the Liberty League Fall Preview at the par-72 Potsdam Town and Country Club this weekend.

Bevins shot a career-best two under par for a 70 after round one and shot a 79 on day two of the tournament to tie for fifth place with a 149.  

Both Ben Scholes and Jimmy King tied for 15th with a 157, while Cooper Evans finished 18th with a 158 and Sam Lyman finished 25th with a 166.

Aidan Daly golfed as an individual and finished 26th with a 167 on the weekend.  

The Engineers shot a combined 582 on the weekend to take first place, while Skidmore finished second with a 595 and St. Lawrence took third with a 621.
