Adam Heilbronner won the "B" Singles flight, and the duo of John Hill-Edgar and Broderick Pinto won the "B" Doubles flight to pace the St. Lawrence University men's tennis team on day two of the Dutchmen Invitational hosted by Union College on Sunday afternoon.

"I was really happy with the way we persevered and competed throughout a long weekend," said assistant coach Jack Lunn "Every player that we traveled with recorded at least one win, and I think that really speaks to the depth we have as a team this year."

Heilbronner made it to the "B" flight finals after terrific play yesterday and took on Ben Jacobs of Union for the championship. The first set of the match was 6-1, and the second went the other way 3-6 leaving it up to a third set. The decisive third set was a close one that saw Heilbronner pull away 10-6 to take the flight.

Hill-Edgar and Pinto played their first match of the day in the semifinal of the "B" Doubles flight against Erodula, and Sanchez-Carrion of Trinity. The duo swept the match 8-0 and were set to face Carlsson and Rutledge of Trinity, who defeated teammates Ben Moolman and Edvin Strandberg in the other semifinal match. Hill-Edgar and Pinto avenged their teammates taking the 8-6 win and the flight in the championship. Moolman and Strandberg took third place in the flight with an 8-5 win over Erodula and Sanchez-Carrion of Trinity.

Nathan Turtledove won the "A" Singles consolation over Cameron Klepper of Union 8-5 to claim 5^th place in the flight, while Nico Haet took seventh in the flight with a 8-2 win over Matt Reinold of Oneonta.

The Saints had two pairs win their semifinal match of the "A" Doubles consolation on Sunday afternoon. Haet and Turtledove defeated Reinold and Smith of Oneonta 8-3, while Cole Hamilton and Heilbronner took down Dornsife and Spottek 8-2. The teammates decided not to play in the match against one another.
