The St. Lawrence University League of Legends team wrapped up play in the College League of Legends tournament on Saturday, falling to Saint Joseph's 2-0 to finish in fourth place in the Group C standings.

Cole Weigartz (Extra Ugli Fruit) had a total of seven kills to lead the Saints, while Anthony Zevallos (McCuddleBalls) had six.

The Hawks jumped out to an early lead in the first game, taking the first dragon and building a 6-3 lead in kills. Saint Joseph's extended the lead with a huge engagement in the mid-game, taking the second dragon and taking a 5-2 trade in kills, building a lead that was too overwhelming to overcome.

Saint Joseph's once again took an early lead in the second game, taking down three of the Saints' turrets and taking a 10-3 lead in kills. But the Saints battled back with a huge engagement, wiping out three Hawks and claiming the Baron Nashor. 



The change in momentum was temporary, however, as Saint Joseph's came back to take their third dragon and a few of the Saints turrets in the next few minutes, finishing the game with 21-7 edge in kills.

Saint Joseph's finished in third place in the Group C standings with a 3-2 record, while the Saints finished 2-3.
