The 20th-ranked St. Lawrence University women's squash team put on a show, as the Saints swept 27th-ranked Haverford College 9-0 on Friday night at the GIAC Squash Center in Haverford, Pa.

"The team pulled together today and played a great match," said head coach Scott Denne "It was good to see our newer players as well as our returners get wins and get the strong 9-0 decision. The confidence will help us as we go home to play Middlebury College."

The sweep was the first for the Scarlet and Brown since February of 2020, when the team swept Bard and Vassar in the 2020 Liberty League Tournament. The Saints went nearly perfect, as they won 3-0 in every match but one and won 27 out of the 28 sets.

Anannya Morey, Sanna Koivumäki, and Makyla Kelley got the ball rolling sweeping each of their sets 3-0 in the number one through three slots. Ulrikke Ribesen, Petra DeRose, Meg Pruett, Kat Leiva, Promise Dorsey-Butler, and Tita Hicks, who played the extra match, also earned 3-0 sweeps.

Starnisha Ramsey went to four sets with Haverford's Caroline Smith, but ultimately put the match away 11-8, 3-11, 11-7, 11-2 to complete the team sweep.
