This past Friday, members of the St. Lawrence University men's and women's squash teams were joined by University President Kathryn A. Morris and Senior Associate Vice President for Athletics
Bob Durocher for the dedication of Court #3 in the Robie Squash Center in memory of Enzo "ZOZO" Corigliano '22, who tragically passed away in December of last year.
"This was such a wonderful celebration for Enzo," said head coach
Scott Denne "Dedicating the court to Enzo will keep his memory alive here at Saints Squash and in the St. Lawrence University community forever. The Enzo "ZOZO" Corigliano '22 court will forever be a happy place here at the Robie Squash Center for years to come."
Members of the St. Lawrence Community, classmates, returning Laurentians, and hundreds of people from around the world came together to watch the proceedings. President Morris, Durocher, and members of the squash teams shared their memories of Enzo and talked about the lifelong impact he has made on the campus community and in their own lives. The squash program received a generous $10,000 matching gift from an anonymous Laurentian to refurbish Court #3, the court where Enzo played most of his matches, and name it in his memory.
Court #3 will now forever be known as the Enzo "ZOZO" Corigliano '22 court in the Robie Squash Center.
