The St. Lawrence University Overwatch team cruised to another 3-0 victory on Wednesday night, defeating the Wayne State "Black" team in ECAC play.

Conner Black (SLU), Gavin Prescott (Hardvark) and Brian Uceta (Drizzle) earned Play of the Game honors for the Saints.

The Saints dominated from the opening point, posting a pair of 100-0 victories on the Nepal control point map to take a 1-0 lead, with Black earning Play of the Game as Zenyatta.



The second point was held on the Dorado payload map, with the Saints opening on defense. While Wayne State was able to reach the first checkpoint, the Saints rallied with an aggressive attack to deny the Warriors the second checkpoint. St. Lawrence easily matched Wayne State's performance with more than three minutes to spare to claim a 2-0 lead. Prescott earned Play of the Game honors, playing as Soldier: 76.

The final point of the match was held on the Volskaya Industries assault map. Once again, Wayne State had a little success on offense, capturing the first control point, but the Saints prevented the Warriors from gaining control of the second point before time ran out. St. Lawrence had little trouble matching Wayne State's performance, taking control of the second point with more than five minutes left on the clock. Uceta earned Play of the Game honors as Zarya.



St. Lawrence improved to 7-4 overall and 3-1 in ECAC Play. The Saints will face the University of North Texas at Dallas in a National Association of Collegiate Esports Overwatch Fall Cup match on Thursday at 8 p.m.
