The fourth-ranked St. Lawrence University men's squash team fell to No. 13 Princeton 6-3 in the Saints' season and home opener on Saturday afternoon in the Robie Squash Center.
The Saints' wins came from the top-three players on the ladder, as
Mohamed El Gawarhy,
Karim Ibrahim and
Belal Nawar won at numbers 1-3, respectively – all on the Dordelman Championship Court.

George Willis took a 2-0 lead in his match at No. 4 for the Saints, but the Tigers' Cody Cortes battled back for  11-8, 11-6 and 11-2 wins in the final three games to upset the Saints' senior captain in the final match on court.
Junior
Youssef Fikry opened his match at No. 5 with an 11-7 win over Alexander Engstrom, but Engstrom won a lengthy second game 14-12 over Fikry and followed with 11-9 and 11-8 wins to win the match 3-1.
In an exhibition match at No. 10, the Saints'
Antonio Yerena battled Adham Elsherbiny in the longest match of the day, as Yerena won the first game 20-18 before eventually falling 3-1 in the match.
With the win, the Tigers improve to 3-2 on the year, while the Saints drop to 0-1.
