Senior Elliot Solandt led the St. Lawrence men's tennis team with a singles win in the team's 8-1 loss at Biola University in its final match in California on Friday afternoon.

Solandt beat Biola's Noah Archer 6-3, 1-6, 10-5 in the sixth position for the Saints. Each of the other singles matches for Dean Sponholz, Eric Tecce, Kevin Frommer, Marco Amendola and Alec Roslin were decided in straight sets.

Biola swept doubles play with 8-2, 8-3, 8-5 wins at Nos. 1-3, respectively.

The Saints next match will be against Hamilton College on Thursday, March 30 at 4 p.m. in the Newell Field House.
