Nationally-ranked Colby beat the St. Lawrence men's tennis team 8-1 in a rescheduled match in California on Thursday morning.

The No. 37 Mules swept singles and took two of the three doubles matches against the Saints in the win. The match was originally supposed to take place on Tuesday, but was postponed due to rain.

Spencer Whitmire and Marco Amendola combined for the Saints lone win at No. 3 doubles, edging the Mules' Jeremy Mendoza and Matt Martin 8-6.

Amendola also opened his singles match at No. 4 against Nam Lee with a 6-1 win, but fell 6-4 in the second set and was edged 11-9 in the third.

The Saints will finish their California schedule on Friday with a 10 a.m. match against Biola University.
