The St. Lawrence University women's track and field team made the trip to Williams College on Saturday for the F.I.R.E. meet, competing in a tune-up and final qualifier opportunity ahead of next week's AARTFC championships.
Amelia Berthold headlined the Saints' effort, setting a personal record in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:06.80, finishing tenth in the event. Kaitlyn Putman competed in the discus and posted a mark of 31.38 meters.
St. Lawrence will look to build on those performances at the AARTFCÂ championships next week.
