Patrick Walford accounted for the lone win as the St. Lawrence University men's squash team fell 8-1 to Franklin & Marshall on Saturday afternoon at the Robie Squash Center.
St. Lawrence fell to 3-4 with the loss, while the Diplomats improved to 7-5.
In the five-spot, Walford took on Noah Katzer and had little resistance in the first game, winning 11-2. Katzer played better in the final two games, but Walford won them 11-7, 11-6 for the win.

Harrison Callaway, and
Gavin Cassidy each took a game in their respective matches, but each fell 3-1.
Next up on the Saints' schedule are the CSA Individual Nationals next weekend in New York, N.Y., followed by a road matchup against Colby on Friday, January 30.
