St. Lawrence University women's track and field sprinter Ella Baker has been named Liberty League performer of the week for the week ending January 11.

Baker didn't waste any time finding her way into the Saints' record book, breaking the Saints' 60-meter dash program record with a time of 7.89 at the Middlebury Snowflake Invitational. The first-year was competing in her second-career collegiate meet. She also had a win in the 200-meter dash at Middlebury.

The Saints return to action Friday at Utica.
