Aksdal-Jansen Falls in Hard-Fought Semifinal Bout at the ITA Northeast Regionals

Angelica Aksdal-Jansen was the lone participant for the St. Lawrence University women's tennis team on the day and fell in a hard-fought semifinal match on Day Three of the ITA Northeast Regionals on the campus of Skidmore College.

The senior was tasked with NYU's Victoria Wang in the singles semifinals and fell 6-4 in the first set. Aksdal-Jansen stormed back to win the second set 6-1 to knot the match. After going down 5-0 early in the second set, Aksdal-Jansen battled back with three points but ultimately fell 6-3 in the decisive set.

The Scarlet and Brown will close out their Fall season on the weekend of October 11-12 when the team heads to Clinton, N.Y. for the Hamilton Fall Invitational.
