The St. Lawrence University men's rowing team opened the fall portion of their schedule at the Head of the Rideau at Mooney's Bay Beach in Ottawa, Ontario on Sunday.

The Saints raced two Varsity 8 boats, placing second and third with times of 18:57.85 and 20:04.22, respectively.

The boat in second was coxed by Luke Rucolas, while the boat in the third was Cooper Jacobs.

St. Lawrence will travel to the Head of the Genesee in Rochester, N.Y. on Saturday, October 11.
