Sadie Cumming shot an 81 and sits in second place to lead the St. Lawrence University women's golf team after round one of the Union Invitational at the Mohawk Golf Course on Saturday afternoon.

Cumming birdied holes seven and 12 and finished eight over par to end the day in second place.

Caroline Mower shot a 91 and tied for 11th, while first-years Nilla Ecklof and Nora Walsh tied each other for 18th with a 101. Ella Narins shot a 120 and ended day one in 25th.

Ithaca leads the team leaderboard after round one with a 337. St. Lawrence sits in fourth with a 374.
