Prior to St. Lawrence

Walsh played soccer, field hockey, ice hockey and golf at Simsbury High School. She was captain of the girls varsity ice hockey team as a junior and senior. She was also captain of the varsity golf team as a senior and received All-Conference honors. Walsh was a high honor roll student all four years of high school.
