Nick Lyndaker has banked another end of season award, this time earning regional recognition from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). He has been tabbed as Mideast Region Athlete of the Year for 2024-25, the coach association announced last week.
Lyndaker, who hails from Canton, N.Y., won Liberty League conference titles in both the 1500 meters and 5000 meters, and was named the Liberty League Most Outstanding Track Performer at the Championships.
When Lyndaker ran PR 3:42.75 over 1500 meters at the St. Lawrence Twilight Invite, he shattered a 41-year-old program record and took down a facility record that was formerly held by Nick Symmonds.
