Brigette Gable earned Second-Team All-Liberty League honors, while senior midfielder
Neve Ley and sophomore attack
Jessica LaPlaca earned Third-Team accolades for the St. Lawrence University women's lacrosse team, as announced by the league office on Tuesday morning.
Gable played in all 17 games for the Saints in 2025 and recorded a team-best 32 caused turnovers and 50 ground balls leading the defensive core. She ranked second in the Liberty League with 1.88 caused turnovers per game and fifth with 2.94 ground balls per game.
"Brigette was dialed in this year leading the league in caused turnovers and second in ground balls," said head coach
Tom Ryan. "Her leadership anchored a veteran defensive unit."
Ley also played in all 17 games and recorded 24 goals and five assists for 29 points on the season, good for second on the Saints' squad. She scored three free-position goals, picked up 22 ground balls, caused 13 turnovers and won a team-best 49 draw controls. She recorded her 100th career point against Ithaca on April 5.
"We relied heavily on Neve's leadership and play on both ends of the field. She stepped up in big moments and when she got up to speed, she was unstoppable."
LaPlaca played in 15 games and led the Scarlet and Brown with 36 goals and 14 assists for 50 points this season. She scored six free-position goals, one game winner, picked up 19 ground balls, caused 13 turnovers and won 10 draw controls.
"Despite drawing opponent's top cover, Jess was a consistent force on offense," Ryan added. p"Her determination to score overcame any teams' plans to stop her."
St. Lawrence wrapped up its 2025 campaign with a 7-10 record, finishing 5-5 in conference play and earning the sixth seed in the Liberty League Tournament.
