The St. Lawrence University women's track and field team wrapped up the Liberty League championships finishing seventh overall and posting several standout performances.
Amelia Berthold led the Saints with an impressive third-place finish in the heptathlon, scoring 3,832 points. She claimed first place in the high jump with a mark of 1.46 meters and recorded personal bests in four additional events.
Elle Waite added to the Saints' success in the heptathlon, placing tenth overall and capturing first place in the javelin throw with a mark of 25.41 meters. Her win, paired with Berthold's second-place finish in the javelin, gave the Saints a 1-2 sweep in that event within the heptathlon.
Elsewhere on the track,
Quinn Sirgany posted personal records in both the 800-meter run and the 1500-meter run, and
Carly Zack notched a PR in the 5000-meter run, finishing the 5k in 19:08.31. In the field events,
Lola Buckley delivered a personal best in the shot put, with a toss for 10.22 meters.
The Saints will look to build on this performance as they head into the final weeks of the outdoor season.
